Central Michigan University’s student newspaper covered a March 20, 2024 panel hosted by the Refugee Outlook Collective, where I spoke about forced displacement.

I shared how I left Burma alone at 12, survived detention, and arrived in the U.S. in 2016 without speaking English, and why education matters so much to the Rohingya.

I called on people to help prevent atrocities and to support refugees.
