Muslim Foster Care Association offers children faith, hope, support

Summary

What the story covers

FOX 17’s Morning Mix featured my story alongside the work of the Muslim Foster Care Association.

Having just finished my freshman year at Western Michigan University, I talked about arriving in the U.S. alone in 2016 without speaking English, and about the foster families, mentors and community who supported me.

The original includes a video segment.
